I want to get one credit card to rebuild credit. What’s the best one right now. I hear Capital One is a really bad one. We filed chapter 7 after losing a business and get tons of offers. I don’t plan on using it other than to just keep a small balance and show good payment history. We are working on getting back into a house in the next year. We sold our house to avoid foreclosure and are currently renting.

I am not in foreclosure yet, but I recently lost my position and we have very little savings so I don’t know that I will be able to save my house. We just got into our home in July and then my company lost a major account and I was out of work. I am doing sales now, but that is commission based and slow to pay. I have no equity in my home per se, and i live in California. I guess I’m wondering with the market the way it is, it might be better to walk away and try again in a few years.

I am a Marine, just got stationed at Henderson Hall in Arlington and would like to purchase a foreclosure home in Northern VA area. what screenings do i need to do inorder to get a property at a good deal and avoid any legal complications? Is it best to go to the court house or use web sites like realtytrac.com?

Here is the scenario and actual facts. Right now in this country, we are experiencing an unprecedented number of home foreclosures! What I’m talking about here is; from the day the new homeowners occupy their home, what should they be doing or NOT doing in order to AVOID going into foreclosure? If you have been a successful homeowner for a good length of time, what have YOU been doing to make sure that you will always meet your obligation to the bank or mortgage company?
