If you truly just owe too much for your income on a monthly basis, it may be best to try to sell and move on to somewhere less expensive.  
If you had a short-term issue (doesn&#039;t sound like it if you had to file bankruptcy), then a loan modification may work - if the interest rate is higher than market rate, or if they can add the past-due payments to the back end of the loan.</description>
