If you can’t increase your income, you probably need to SELL the house. There are things that may help DELAY a foreclosure, but if you can’t afford to PAY the mortgage, you WILL lose the house eventually.

You’re not on food stamps ?
Sell the house, move someplace where there are jobs.

what kind of job is he looking for? why are you not working instead? if he is unemployable, you should get a job

Your husband needs to take any job he is offered. Saying he cannot find ANY job after a full year is just insane. If he needs to work 2 full time jobs in retail to keep the house then that is what he needs to do. It might be time to put your house on the market but in this economy do not count on it selling in time to save it from foreclosure.
